FTC SEASON HIGHLIGHTS
Our 10 FTC teams are off to a great 2023-24 season:
Three Viperbots teams are headed to UIL: 4545 Ouroboros, 6210 Stryke, and 16311 Recoil
Six teams competed at the Central Texas Area Championships and all won awards! 16311 Recoil won Inspire 1st. 4545 Ouroboros won Inspire 2nd. 6210 Stryke won Think 2nd. 7161 Hydra won Control 3rd. 18030 Leviathan won Connect 3rd. 6299 QuadX won Design 3rd.
In our Central WA-Le League we swept all Inspire Awards, 9 teams won awards, and 8 teams advanced!
Tharunkumar Rajeswari of Ouroborus was recognized as a Dean's List Semi-Finalist!
Summarizing our 2022-23 season:
6299 QuadX advanced all the way to Worlds and became a Design Award Finalist!
Four of Viperbot teams advanced to UIL FIT State Championships, including 6299 QuadX, 7161 Hydra, 16311 Recoil, and 12596 Copperhead. QuadX won Winspire Award 2nd. Hydra finished as a Division Finalist.
Five Viperbot teams advanced to Central Regional Championships. 16311 Recoil won Inspire Award 2nd. 12596 Copperhead won Connect Award. 6299 QuadX won Connect Award 2nd. 4545 Ouroboros won Compass Award and Motivate Award 2nd. 7161 Hydra advanced to State UIL.
All told, Viperbot FTC teams won 6 Inspire Awards and Inspire Finalists, 3 Connect Awards, 1 Compass Award, 1 Innovate Award, 1 Motivate Award, 2 Control Awards, and 8 Other Award Runnerups.
